The Change in Our World
To change the world
it takes power;
To make a difference-
seems dumb, but is needed.
To be grateful
is terrifying.
To be disrespected
is okay.
Trying
can never happen.
Doing nothing
is an option.
Changing the world,
can we do it?
To change the world,
it would be better
for us to stop.
It would be great,
to pollute, and to destroy.
(now read it bottom to top. Example: To pollute, and to destroy, it.would be great for us to stop.)

Loop

My name is the product of honesty and lies.
An unsolvable equation one might say.
My name is a name of tossing and turning.
A name of endless sleepless bitter cold nights.
My name is the sound of one's faint whisper, pleading for help,
that no one can hear.
My name is the same name of a rosey pink greek flower,
staying concealed until the one fortunate day when it can finally open.
The mention of my name can either bring you rising up to the stars,
or struggling to grasp you breath underneath green murky water.
My name is the name of a person whose thoughts race around in their head,
and branch off of each other until finally reaching the tip of the waterfall,
and falling over into a never ending blackness.
My name is trying something new,
with deep hopes,
and being immensely disappointed.
My name is being asleep in my thoughts for days,
but still being tired, and wanting to go back,
every time I am awoken.
My name is cutting people out of my life,
avoiding them at any cost,
and wondering why they never came back.
My name is just another name,
of a person whose face you would see in a crowd of people,
trying so desperately to fit in.
My name is from having something so close,
and managing to push it oceans away.
But…I could never change my name.
Not if I tried.
Not even if I wanted too.
Because my name is Samantha,
and Samantha is who I am.
A person on a never ending loop.
